Enhancing & Taming the AI

Pending U.S. Patent Claims on AI, Blockchain, Nanotech & Autonomous Vehicles

The present invention generally relates to the field of AI, and specifically to means of enhancing AI and at the same time curbing the perils of AI by collating collective wisdom of many in an autonomous, decentralized and democratized peer to peer network run on a novel ultra-low latency blockchain protocol.

CLAIMS:
1.
A method of creating collective artificial intelligence (CAI) within a network of connected nodes that include, but not limited to, artificial intelligence (AI) endowed machines, devices, robots, programs or things, by distributing the creation of enhanced AI and the power of governance amongst all the participating nodes in a decentralized peer-to-peer network that autonomously runs on a consensus engine in compliance with set of rules, such peer participation being incentivized by a global feed of intelligence data from all peers to each peer, thereby enhancing machine learning capabilities of each individual peer to superhuman levels and at the same time dis-incentivizing misuse of such enhanced AI by rogue peers with their disqualification for non-compliance.
2.
A method of claim 1 wherein the distributed, decentralized, autonomous peer to peer enhanced machine learning and governance protocol is either a blockchian consensus protocol, or an ultra-low-latency blockchian consensus protocol with transaction latency not exceeding 50 milliseconds.
3.
A method of claim 1 wherein the AI-endowed nodes include nano-machines, nano-devices, nano-robots, or nano-things, and the creation of enhanced AI of participating peers that include nodes, machines, devices, robots, or things, or nano-machines, nano-devices, nano-robots, or nano-things, is enabled by data shared by peer nodes in the network for machine learning, which otherwise would not be available to any individual peer node.
4.
A method of claim 1 wherein the AI-endowed machines, robots, or programs are autonomous motor vehicles (AMVs) or autonomous traffic control (ATC) systems.
5.
A method of claim 1 wherein the distributed power of governance is implemented by means of a set of rules which are enforced by imposing penalties for non-compliance and rewards for compliance.
6.
An ultra-low latency blockchain protocol for enabling fast, efficient, secured, distributed and decentralized Internet of Everything (IoX) infrastructure comprising of a network architecture that segregates the standard blockchain consensus engine and the value transaction / smart contracts engine, from the device to device proximity access authorization engine, wherein the access to the blockchained IoX infrastructure is secured by layered network authentication in steps: the first step comprising of authenticating an always-on node having a permanent cryptographic address of things (CAT) to the distributed P2P network of machines, devices, robots, nodes, things, or entities and validated by the consensus engine for value transactions or smart contracts or governance or authentication, the second step comprising of authenticating a transitory node or device or entity to the proximity access authorizing engine by means of generating a transitory CAT.
7.
A method of claim 6 wherein the ultra-low latency blockchain infrastructure is used for creating CAI within a network of connected nodes that include but not limited to AI-endowed machines, devices, robots, things or entities, by distributing the creation of enhanced AI and the power of governance amongst all the participating nodes in a decentralized peer-to-peer network that autonomously runs on a consensus engine in compliance with set of rules, such peer participation being incentivized by a global data feed of intelligence to each peer that enhances machine learning capabilities of each local node to superhuman levels.
8.
A method of claim 6 wherein the ultra-low latency blockchain infrastructure is used for creating CAI within a network of connected nodes that include but not limited to AI-endowed nano-machines, nano-devices, nano-robots, nano-things or nano-entities, by distributing the creation of enhanced AI and the power of governance amongst all the participating nodes in a decentralized peer-to-peer network that autonomously runs on a consensus engine in compliance with set of rules, such peer participation being incentivized by a global data feed of intelligence to each peer that enhances machine learning capabilities of each local node to superhuman levels.
9.
A method of claim 6 wherein IoX includes everything tangible or intangible that is capable of direct or indirect interactivity with its peers by virtue of being either directly connected to a decentralized network of Internet of Things (IoT) or Internet of Nano-Things (IoNT) or nanonetwork, or indirectly connected via NFC (near field communication) tag or Bluetooth 4.0 low energy (BLE) device or QR Code, that include but not limited to a computer node, an electronic mobility device, a wearable device, a smartphone, a smart watch, a connected vehicle, a digitally tagged object or thing, a radiofrequency identification card, a nano-machine, a nano-device, a nano-robot or a nano-thing, a person, a pet, a livestock, webpages, so on and so forth.
10.
A method of claim 9 wherein the nanonetwork of nano-machines, nano-devices, nano-robots or nano-things comprise of clusters of nano-machines, nano-devices, nano-robos or nano-things connected to a sub-node, and clusters of sub-nodes are connected to a nano-node, and clusters of nano-nodes are connected to at least one or more micro-nodes, and one or mciro-nodes are connected to parent node, and the parent node is connected to the IoNT, and the IoNT may be integrated with the IoT to form the Internt of Everything (IoX).
